Astronomy Society

香港樹仁大學天文學會致加凝聚一眾對有興趣認識天文知識的同學，透過組織與天文相關之學術和娛樂活動，增加會員之間的交流，並於校內宣傳天文知識，普及同學對天文的興趣。天文學會同時亦與校外天文相關學會及機構合作，積極建立合作關係，以擴大會員的社交網絡。為學生的校園生活增添更多難忘的經歷，是樹仁天文學會秉持創新文化的目標。
與一般學生團體不同，天文學會活動主要在戶外、晚間舉行，吸引了喜歡天文活動的學生。除了露營、觀星、星座研究和聯合大學天文營外，天文學會還會關注環保議題，如關注光學污染對觀星造成的影
響，亦會以環保物料製作觀星工
具，鼓勵同學了解天文與大自然的關係。

The Astronomy Society of Hong Kong Shue Yan University aims to bring together students who are interested in learning about astronomy. Through organizing academic and recreational activities related to astronomy, it seeks to enhance interaction among members, promote astronomical knowledge on campus, and foster students’ interest in astronomy. The Society also collaborates with external astronomy-related organizations and institutions, actively building cooperative relationships to expand members’ social networks. Adding unforgettable experiences to students’ campus life is the goal of the Shue Yan Astronomy Society as it upholds a culture of innovation.
Unlike typical student groups, the Astronomy Society’s activities are mainly held outdoors and at night, attracting students who enjoy astronomical pursuits. In addition to camping, stargazing, constellation studies, and joint university astronomy camps, the Society also pays attention to environmental issues, such as the impact of light pollution on stargazing. It even uses eco-friendly materials to make stargazing tools, encouraging students to understand the relationship between astronomy and nature.
