Study Abroad Scheme
Hong Kong Shue Yan University is committed to providing students with diversified curriculum development and a rich campus life. Having a global outlook is one of the important attributes which HKSYU anticipates from its graduates. The International Unit (IU) was established in 2015 to provide opportunities for students to study abroad for a semester or two and at the same time, to help internationalize the University.
IU actively develops partnerships with universities around the world. Currently, we have agreements with 81 universities in more than 30 countries and regions including McGill University in Canada, University of Essex in the United Kingdom, Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology University in Australia, National Cheng Kung University in Taiwan, and Peking University in Mainland China. We also promote virtual international programmes, summer schools, and other activities to enrich your learning experiences.
Internship Courses
The Industrial Attachment Office (IAO) serves and supports all HKSYU undergraduate students with the provision of local and overseas industrial attachments for placements, internships, practicums, service learning, enterprise learning, and work training that are discipline-specific and credit-bearing as part of the undergraduate programmes. The industrial attachment courses aim at broadening students’ social horizons, enriching their learning experience, and strengthening their employability skills through direct engagement in the workplace.
