The Society of Sociology Department of HKSYU which has always been at the forefront in promoting Sociology studies and their application in the contemporary world. Aims to maintain good relationships between staff and students of the Sociology Department, as well as other societies within and outside the University. Each year, the Society organizes a wide variety of activities for its members, and other students in Hong Kong Shue Yan University, intending to encourage Sociology studies and cultivate personal growth among students, always been striving the best for students and the University alike.
Seraphim rank highest among the nine choirs of angels, alongside cherubim and thrones. They embody divine love and illumination, closest to God. They have six wings, each pair represents reverence, humility, and service. This means that Seraphim vows to serve the students of the Sociology Department with the most fervent hearts and devout commitment.
