The Society of the Department of Counselling and Psychology is a student-led organization formed by students of the Department of Counselling and Psychology at Hong Kong Shue Yan University. It is dedicated to enhancing the academic development of students, promoting the understanding of psychological theories and counseling practices, and advocating for the professional recognition of counseling services in Hong Kong.
The Society also strives to foster meaningful communication and personal growth among students, while actively safeguarding and advancing the rights and welfare of our members.
Throughout the year, the Society organizes various activities, including academic seminars, mental health awareness campaigns, community service projects, and social gatherings. These events provide opportunities for students to deepen their psychological knowledge, build connections with peers, and experience growth both personally and professionally.
YourMind, the 2025 cabinet of the Society, reflects our commitment to realizing the hopes and ideas of our fellow students. The name also holds a deeper meaning — “You are mine” — symbolizing unity and a strong sense of belonging within the department. We are devoted to building a supportive, connected, and empowering environment for all Counselling and Psychology students.
