Introduction
The Hong Kong Shue Yan University Library serves as a resource and learning hub for the university’s students, faculty, and researchers. It is located in the Library Complex and spans G/F, 2/F to 6/F, providing a comfortable and conducive environment for learning and research.
Library Collection
Discover a wealth of academic knowledge at the Library. We are home to an extensive collection of resources, including approximately 350,000 physical materials, over 1,400,000 e-book titles, more than 400 print and online journal titles, and over 200 databases. This vast collection covers a broad spectrum of subject areas.
Beyond our physical holdings, the Library provides seamless access to a wide variety of e-resources. These include online databases, e-books, e-journals, dissertations, online videos, and other digital resources. Our e-resources are constantly updated to ensure students always have the most current information available for their studies, and they can be accessed anytime, from anywhere.

Library Facilities
The Library also offers various facilities to enhance the learning experience, including study carrels, discussion areas, discussion rooms, a presentation room, PC workstations, iMacs, book scanners, and Express Printing Stations designated for fast printing. The Library area also has full Wi-Fi coverage to ensure seamless connectivity. The discussion rooms, presentation room and some PC workstations can be reserved online.
