The Astronomy Society, Hong Kong Shue Yan University, commonly known as “樹仁天文,” is in its first year. We are committed to organizing academic and recreational astronomy activities for SYU students while actively cultivating relationships with other institutions.
In addition to camping, star gazing, constellation research, and the Joint-U Astronomy Camp, we hold member gatherings and social events to encourage students to grow academically and socially. As opposed to typical student societies, we hold our activities mainly outdoors, attracting students who enjoy astronomical activities. Adding more memorable experiences to students’ campus life is Shue Yan Astronomy Society’s goal of upholding an innovative culture.
