Hong Kong Shue Yan University is committed to providing students with a diverse curriculum and a vibrant campus life. A global perspective is one of the key attributes that HKSYU strives to instill in its graduates. To facilitate this, the International Unit (IU) was established in 2015, offering opportunities for students to study abroad for one or two semesters and enhancing the university’s internationalization efforts.<\/p>

As of September 2024, the IU has been restructured into the Centre for Global Engagement (CGE). This strategic change aims to better support global initiatives that enrich the experiences and perspectives of our students and faculty. Currently, we maintain partnerships with over 90 universities across more than 30 countries and regions, including the University of British Columbia in Canada, Michigan State University in the United States, Worcester College at the University of Oxford in the United Kingdom, National Cheng Kung University in Taiwan, Hanyang University ERICA in South Korea, and Peking University in Mainland China. Additionally, we promote summer schools, virtual international programmes, and various events to further enhance our academic offerings.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The Industrial Attachment Office (IAO) serves and supports all HKSYU undergraduate students by providing local and overseas industrial attachments, including placements, internships, practicums, service learning, enterprise learning, and work training. These courses are discipline-specific and credit-bearing as part of the undergraduate programmes. The industrial attachment courses aim at broadening students\u2019 social horizons, enriching their learning experience, and strengthening their employability skills through direct engagement in the workplace.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
